HSE Manager

The Lines Company, has subsidiaries in several different capacities of the electricity sector including electricity line renewals, metering services, electrical contracting services, and environmentally friendly electricity generation including several hydro schemes.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced health and safety professional to join our team.

This role is not just about compliance, you’ll be part of shaping a positive culture, delivering our health, safety and environmental responsibilities and translating our long-term strategy into operational delivery.

We’re looking for someone who is energetic, engaging and passionate. You’ll love being out and about in the field and sharing your knowledge to deliver best practice across all our health, safety and environmental initiatives.  You’re an expert in your field who can give sound advice in all areas of Health and Safety and ensure continuous improvement through the delivery of best practice tools, methods and safety management systems. 

This is an awesome opportunity for someone in a senior advisor role to step up and take the next step.

Ideally, you’re tertiary qualified however, we value great experience so if you have the following we will definitely be interested in talking to you:

  • 5 years or more in a senior safety role in an organisation that has a significant H&S presence
  • Experience in leading risk reduction initiatives
  • A comprehensive knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
  • Excellent presentation skills, including writing reports
  • Great project management skills
  • Experienced coach/facilitator
